Best Camera and Battery Phone: Under 20,000

If you have a budget of Rs. 20,000 and want to buy a great camera phone, here is a list of the best camera phones in India in that price range that is currently available to buy in India. The list is sorted by camera review rating, with the highest-rated camera smartphone at the top, as well as release date, with newer phones appearing above older models. Every model on this list was released within the last 18 months.

In the comprehensive Gadgets 360 review, the phones in this category received a camera score of at least 8 out of 10. Thus, you can rest assured that the photo and video quality of these smartphones is excellent and that this quality extends to both the front and rear camera setups. You can also be confident that the devices on the list of best camera phones are under Rs. 20,000 will provide a great overall experience because we only included models with an overall score of 8 or higher.

1. Realme 8s 5G

The Realme 8s 5G looks similar to the Realme 8 5G. It has a 6.5-inch screen, thin side bezels, and a slightly thicker chin. On the side of the Realme 8s, 5G is a fingerprint scanner. When placed on a table, the Realme 8s 5G’s triple camera module protrudes enough to cause the device to rock.

Both models include 128GB of storage, which can be expanded via the dedicated microSD card slot. Realme also has a Virtual RAM feature, which lets you increase RAM by using up to 5GB of storage. The package includes a 5,000mAh battery and a 33W charger. The battery life on the Realme 8s 5G was excellent, easily lasting more than a day. The phone reached 94 per cent charge in an hour after charging the 5,000mAh battery with the included 33W Dart Charger.

The Realme 8s 5G comes with a triple camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel B&W portrait camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It took good photos in daylight, but the lack of an ultra-wide-angle camera limits its versatility compared to some of the competition. The camera’s low-light performance was average, though Night mode helped improve the output.

2. Motorola Edge 20 Fusion

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a camera hole punch in the centre. It has an IP52 rating, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. From the back, a triple camera module protrudes significantly.

The MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor powers the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, which is paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Both models have 128GB of storage. The Edge 20 Fusion runs Android 11 with a light-skinned MyUX interface on top. The UI is similar to stock Android and can be customised further.

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion features three cameras: a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. This phone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. The Moto Edge 20 Fusion’s camera performed admirably in low-light conditions and for close-ups. The camera’s low-light performance appeared to have been improved. The Edge 20 Fusion offers pure Stock Android and will appeal to budget-conscious purists.

3. iQOO Z3

While the iQoo Z3 does not follow in the footsteps of the gamer-focused iQoo 3, it succeeds as an affordable smartphone with a good processor for the price. While this new SoC’s performance is noticeable, it does not represent a significant improvement over the competition. This is where the other intriguing hardware features of the iQoo Z3 come into play. In daylight, a triple-camera setup works well but struggles in low light. The 4,400mAh battery can be charged to 100% in 60 minutes using the included 55W charging adapter.

4. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

With eye-catching specifications, Xiaomi is raising the profile of its popular Redmi Note series. It has a 108-megapixel camera but otherwise is the same as the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the price difference may be insignificant. The display on this phone is a 6.67-inch full-HD+ 120Hz HDR10 Super AMOLED with an integrated front camera. It’s vibrant, fresh, and alive. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC is included, as well as up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 5020mAh battery and a 33W charger are included in the box. The 108-megapixel rear camera takes good daytime photos, but don’t expect to see a lot of detail in distant objects.

5. Samsung Galaxy M62

Another significant advantage for the Samsung Galaxy F62 is its battery life. Even with heavy usage, the 7,000mAh battery easily lasted me nearly two days. The cameras on the Galaxy F62 have also been lifted from the Galaxy M51. When shooting in daylight, all of the cameras on the Samsung Galaxy F62 perform admirably. Low-light performance is lacking, particularly when it comes to videos.
